Matter - Call for Participation

We invite you to participate in "It Really Doesn't Matter If Your Curtains Don't Match," a community art project that includes an exhibition of artworks of Anna Boggon's work and her collaborations with others. As part of this project, we are launching a collaborative artwork titled "What's the Matter?"
 

"Matter" will take the form of a gigantic patchwork, exploring what matters most to people. The title is intentionally ambiguous—it could refer to care or concern, something being wrong, or even a literal question: what is it made of?

We invite individuals and groups to create a fabric square, 50 cm or multiples thereof, that depicts something important to them. Your square might reflect a personal issue, something related to your immediate environment, or a global concern. Whether simple or complex, each design will contribute to a collective tapestry of perspectives and ideas.
