Anna Boggon, born in Edinburgh, lives and works in London. She studied Painting at Grays School of Art, Aberdeen and went on to do a Master’s Degree in Fine Art at The Royal College of Art, London

She has exhibited extensively in the UK and Overseas and exhibitions include; Laura Bartlett Gallery, the Liverpool Biennial, Birmingham Museum, Royal Scottish Academy Edinburgh, Officina Beijing and Island 6 Shanghai. Residency Awards include; British Council Artist Links Residency in China and The International Artists Fellowship, Arts Council England in Paraguay.

Having spent a considerable amount of time on projects and residencies overseas, she has built up a photographic and film archive of people relative to place and time which informs her practice through the medium of painting, photography and film. She has work in private and public collections in the UK and overseas including; the Government Art Collection, British Airways and Max Mara.

She has worked at UAL for 15 years as a Fine Art lecturer, Area leader in Photography and Time Based Media and is currently working as an International Academic Coordinator at Chelsea College of Art. She is the Founder member of Seasonal Disorder an artist led curatorial project.
